CyRide

Brand Refresh (Course Project)

As part of a course assignment, I reimagined the brand identity of CyRide, the bus system serving Iowa State University. The existing brand had strong recognition on campus but felt dated. My goal was to create a modern, flexible identity that better reflected the system’s role in connecting students and the community.

I researched transit branding, studied CyRide’s existing applications, and explored how typography, color, and iconography could be updated for clarity and recognition. I developed multiple logo concepts and applied the final mark across mockups for buses, signage, and digital platforms.

The refreshed identity presents CyRide as more approachable and contemporary while maintaining its recognizable character. The redesign demonstrates my ability to tackle large-scale, real-world systems and create branding that functions across multiple environments.
